Acceptance of Terms
Agreement to These Terms
By creating an account or using Fantasy Kooks, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you must not use the app.
Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Fantasy Kooks after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. We will notify you of material changes via email or an in-app notice.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Fantasy Kooks. By registering, you confirm that you meet this requirement. Fantasy Kooks is intended for personal, non-commercial use.
Your Account
Account Responsibility
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. Fantasy Kooks cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage resulting from your failure to keep your credentials secure.
Accurate Information
You agree to provide accurate and current information when registering and to keep your account details up to date. Impersonating another person or using a misleading username is not permitted.
One Account Per Person
Each person may maintain only one account. Creating multiple accounts to gain a competitive advantage in contests is prohibited and may result in all accounts being suspended.
Contest Conduct
Fair Play
You agree to participate in contests honestly and in good faith. Any attempt to manipulate scores, exploit scoring bugs, or collude with other participants is strictly prohibited.
Contest Creator Responsibilities
If you create a contest, you are responsible for the settings, rules, and any passwords you set. Fantasy Kooks is not responsible for disputes arising from privately organised contests.
No Real-Money Gambling
Fantasy Kooks is a free-to-play platform. No real money may be wagered through the app. Any external arrangements between users regarding prizes or wagers are entirely outside the scope of these terms and Fantasy Kooks takes no responsibility for them.
Score Disputes
Scores are calculated automatically based on official WSL event data. While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee that scores will always match official results exactly. We reserve the right to correct scoring errors at any time.
Prohibited Conduct
No Automated Access
You may not use bots, scrapers, or automated tools to access or interact with Fantasy Kooks without our prior written consent.
No Interference
You may not attempt to disrupt, overload, or interfere with Fantasy Kooks or its underlying infrastructure, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the service.
No Abusive Content
Any usernames or contest names containing offensive, discriminatory, or abusive content may be removed without notice and may result in account suspension.
Disclaimers & Liability
Service Availability
Fantasy Kooks is provided on an 'as is' and 'as available' basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service, particularly during active WSL events when traffic may be high.
Data Accuracy
Surfer results and event data are sourced from public WSL data. We make no warranty as to the completeness or accuracy of this data and accept no liability for decisions made based on it.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Fantasy Kooks and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account at our discretion, with or without notice, for conduct that we determine violates these terms or is otherwise harmful to the community.
